From 21 – 22 March 2026, ComplexCon Hong Kong 2026 is bringing the fever pitch back to AsiaWorld Expo. Kicking off its third consecutive year in Hong Kong with an undeniably powerful collaboration, ComplexCon proudly announces Kasing Lung – the Hong Kong contemporary artist and creator of THE MONSTERS collectibles and LABUBU – as the festival’s 2026 Artistic Director.
Always capturing the current zeitgeist and dictating the next cultural movement, ComplexCon’s appointment of Lung is a masterstroke symbolizing a homecoming of sorts for one of the world’s foremost creative talents during a stratospheric peak in popularity.
As ComplexCon Hong Kong’s Artistic Director, Lung will weave his distinctive style and visionary creativity into the very fabric of the event’s core theme, ensuring that next year’s experience not only builds upon ComplexCon’s legacy but also fundamentally redefines culture and accelerates emerging trends, establishing an unparalleled paradigm for creative convergence.

The creative direction of ComplexCon has always been anchored by the most influential cultural architects. In 2025, the festival featured cultural alchemist Daniel Arsham, who applied his ‘Future Relic’ aesthetic to a fully immersive “ComplexCon Hotel” and hyper-limited goods. In 2024, creative powerhouse Verdy helped transform the event into a colossal marketplace.
